Health benefits complexity is putting pressure on internal teams.
Evolving regulations, expanding benefit offerings, and explosions of point solutions and digital tools are creating new demands on already stretched HR and benefits teams. In fact, more than 70% of benefits leaders surveyed by Employee Benefit News (EBN) say managing health benefits has become increasingly complex and challenging over the past three years.
The question is no longer how organizations can manage that complexity. It is how they can do so without adding additional pressure to internal teams or compromising the member experience. New research from EBN, conducted in collaboration with LaborFirst, surveyed 173 employers and unions with group health benefits to find answers.
