As Chief Strategy & Product Officer, John Paik shapes LaborFirst’s long-term strategy and leads the continued development of our RetireeFirst and HealthActive solutions and services.
John has been a results-driven senior executive and entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience leading and transforming healthcare organizations across Fortune 50 companies and high-growth start-ups. He has a proven track record of building and scaling businesses, driving revenue growth, and improving profitability while enhancing shareholder value. John brings deep expertise in corporate strategy, operations, marketing, sales, and business development, with a strong focus on expanding in both established and emerging markets. Most recently he served as the President of Group Medicare and head of Labor and Public Sector businesses at Elevance Health, leading a significant turnaround of the Group Medicare business for the first time ever at the largest Blue.
John has been recognized for delivering innovative growth strategies, executing complex integrations, and leading high-performing teams across organizations including Pfizer, CVS Health (Aetna), HealthEquity, and Performant Healthcare. In addition, he currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Monmouth Medical Center (Robert Wood Johnson Heath System), LyfeMD, Leviant and is a Limited Partner at HC9 Ventures.
