Job Description
Retiree Advocates act as the healthcare concierges for high touch member concerns. Advocates are the face of Labor First, LLC and responsible for making a lasting impression on members. Retiree Advocates should have excellent customer service skills and be attentive, patient, courteous, and quick-thinking.
Primary Responsibility
- Communicating with members, doctors, and pharmacies
- Interacting with clients and insurance companies
- Entering and updating data in CRM software
- Maintaining, expanding, and servicing existing clients
- Ensuring exceptional customer service
- Problem solving capabilities and quick thinking
- Ability to travel for retiree meetings and events
Required Qualifications
- Preferred Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Computer Skills including Microsoft Office – specifically Excel
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment
- Customer Service Experience
- RX or Medical Field Experience
- Life & Health License (If not a current Licensee –must be obtained)
- Work authorization:
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare billing and coding
- Experience working with Taft-Hartley and/or multiemployer Health funds
- Spanish language skills
- Clinical knowledge
- Prescription Claims Processing
- Medication administration and Medicare Guidelines
- Basic understanding of Medicare Prescription Benefits
- Life and Health Producer License
- Experience:
